This week : Mostly normal but learning to respond to emotional cues - Personal reflections on friendships - Learning to confront fears and not worry about being judged.
Some of my friends & family members are going through difficult times, which makes me feel sad, and I’ve noticed I don’t respond well to messages. I find that I communicate better in person, as messages can easily be misunderstood in tone. I hope things improve, and I’m working on being more proactive in my communication.
I have been working from “Clayworks - Create,” which has a nice atmosphere, but I generally don’t like being assigned a specific seating area in co-working spaces. I prefer the flexibility to choose my own spot, especially considering the cost. I’m looking into other options that offer more seating freedom.
I had a productive meeting with a coworker midweek, but it declined after the day's burn out.
I took a moment to pause and reflect on the privilege I have. This week also gave me the space to think about how much of my perspectives changed. On that note, I watched Krish Ashok's video on microplastics, which entirely changed my outlook on plastic pollution.
The weekend was more laid-back; I took the opportunity to clean up the house. I have always found that writing down my tasks helps me accomplish them more efficiently. I re-organized my wardrobe using the same method and enjoyed a workout at my apartment’s gym, which was refreshing.
